- Summary
- In the year 2035, robots are a common, trusted part of life. But that trust is broken when a scientist is found dead, and a skeptical Chicago police detective investigating the murder believes that an advanced robot is responsible. According to the Three Laws of Robotics, a robot can't harm a human--but rules were meant to be broken! Aiding the detective in his investigation is a psychologist who specializes in the psyches of robots. Will technology ultimately lead to mankind's salvation or annihilation?
