- Summary
-
- The Tricksters: A farmer is apparently kicked to death by a horse, until Detective Wallander investigates and uncovers clues suggesting a different scenario--one that involves a mysterious woman the farmer had met through the personal ads. Kurt and Linda bait the killer with their own personal ad and soon find themselves in hot water
- The Photographer: An American tourist is found dead and her husband demands the body and all her possessions be returned. Just before her death she visited a renowned photographer, fuelling the suspicion of adultery. Detective Wallander takes an interest in the cuckolded husband and suspects there is more to the photographer than meets the eye
- The Castle Ruins: When an old man lies dead next to his poisoned dogs, the yuppie community in the condo next door breathes a collective sigh of relief. Wallander's investigation uncovers the reasons for their disdain, which turns to horror when members of the community also become threatened. Just how perfect is their world, anyway?
