- Summary
- A mix of documentary and drama that tells the story of the age-old bond between man and dog. Nansal, the oldest daughter of a Mongolian nomad family, finds a small dog while out in the fields. Believing the dog responsible for attacking his sheep, her father refuses to allow her to keep him. Despite her father's orders, she keeps the dog and tries to hide him from her father. Only when the dog proves himself to the father by protecting the baby son from a flock of threatening vultures does the father accept him into the family
